I've always "loathed, "Black Friday..."
I used to think that it was all about "YOUR FIRED!!! In the words of 'Donald Trump;' Alas, I'm wrong, again...
When Someone/Anyone--get's up early, and a "Temp" worker, takes a job at that, to make a "better Christmas," for their own family;" AND LOSES THEIR LIFE--I am astounded and sooo very sad!. That man gave up his "life," for a "shopping day!" He likely had kids to feed, and presents to buy or maybe just "pay the rent..."
It makes me "Ill," beyond words! To think that that "young man" died, as a result of "greedy" shoppers, makes me "SICK"..." I don't want to cast "blame" upon anyone whom wanted a $400.00 "flat screen TV, or a $300.00,'lap top computer..." But come on people now-- was it worth "his" death, to have the customers "break down the doors," and trample him to his demise/death?
There is nothing -- AND I mean NOTHING, that would cause me to do such a horrific thing to another human being...
I understand the meaning of "sales," and "gifts," for the "children..."
Beyond that-this is SERIOUSLY "unforgivable..."
"I-Pods, computer toys and the 'lot,' will NEVER make up for a human being; losing his life for such a waste of time, money and "greed..."
Well, I guess the "U.S's largest" retailer has backed off upon comments. "Workers' Comp"-Yes... but I'd rather live with my injuries and suffer the pain, as to see such a horrific act, such as this! 
What has happened to "our"society??? Folks camping out for over 10-20 hours, just to "buy" the latest, greatest deals? OH, and the TV interviews--that was very thoughful--YA THINK!
"Loss-leader's", as they are called in the business, advertise major discounts on merchandise--just to get folks into the store...
IF ANYONE READS THIS, TRUST ME IT'S TRUE! Why not hand out "rain-checks," instead of 3 TVS and I'PODS for 2000 folks waiting in line??? Color me STUPID, But this is that which happens in this scenario...
If they can't "stock" enough merchandise, then don't ADVERTISE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
--To add insult to injury, they only stock a few of these items so that they can SELL YOU ON AN "UPGRADED" model....hence, no savings in the long run.
Take care, God Bless and please put "food" on your tables--Send a card, say "Hi, and 'I love you," to someone special-- it means a lot more than "pretty colored gifts," and electronic gadgets, at least IMHO.
