My company has been paperless for above a year now. We done our research and purchased many scanners. Many returned because of feeder issues or software compatibility issues.

Does anyone know the scanner specifications that EAMS will require to scan documents? Like resolution, 300dpi, Color, format (Pdf) and so on. I am ready to purchase more of the high speed scanners but want to make sure they will meet EAMS requirements.

If your interest in what not to buy in scanners, just let me know!!

Will

Hi Will -

I'm not sure why you would be concerned with scanner issues. You should be concerned with printer specs instead, and that is really only for OCR forms where specific data fields need to be read by DWC scanners.

Printer specs are detailed in pending EAMS implementation regulations.
