Hate to say it, but WorkCompCentral got trumped on a top story today by the LA Times -

http://www.latimes.com/business/la-fi-insure21mar21,1,512769.story?coll=la-headlines-business&ctrack=1&cset=true

However, this is a story that our Jim Sams had been following for some time. State Fund's firing of Tudor was a long time coming, but still a surprise given the secrecy and haste surrounding his termination. The curious thing is what took SCIF so long? So just in the past 6 months we have 2 Directors and the Fund's president out of the loop for conflict of interest.

The LA Times story doesn't say what exactly Tudor was doing - I'm confident that Jim Sams will get to the bottom of this.

I am sure there will be further developments and follow-up. For the present, what a disappointment that a few at the top of the food chain have undercut the efforts of the claims examiners, attorneys and supervisors at the Fund who are as a group, honorable and hardworking. Even if WCC got "beat" on the story, your analysis and explanation of the situation is crucial, given the current leadership of the executive and legislative branches of government.
