Has anyone dealt with such a request before? The employee did sustain brain trauma. The request came from his attorney, by way of a flyer from US K9 academy. Cost for the dog is $10,000. Just to be on the safe side, I've sent the request to UR as I didn't really know what else to do with it. Looking for any information or experience with this request from anyone??

If you Google "Seizure detection dog," you'll find a wealth of information. My quick perusal indicates that there are some anecdotal reports of success and one small study with disappointing results. The Epilepsy Foundation says there has been more disappointment than success in training dogs for seizure detection, and that only one in ten dogs might have what it takes. Sounds like a great income generator for dog trainers but an expensive experiment for a seizure-prone patient. Disclaimer: I am no expert in dogs or seizures.
