Long-term disability lien.
Paying injured worker during disputed case. Prior to EAMS we filed an opening lien to all parties, including the board as we began payments. We can no longer file opening liens. Can we file liens after first dollar is paid? If no, when can we file liens. I am trying to find the list of circumstances when liens are allowed, but all I can remember is when a hearing is scheduled. The problem with that is I will not get notice unless I've already filed a lien. Any suggestions?
