Many of you may have known SCIF attorney D. David Porter, who was a fixture for SCIF's Monterey Park and then Santa Ana Asbestos Unit. David then began doing other workers' compensation litigation.
David passed yesterday and was a dear friend of mine.
His family has advised they are holding a celebration of his life at the Magic Castle in the Inner Circle room from 6:30 - 8:30 pm, on Thursday, February 12, 2009.
Please be advised the Magic Castle has a dress code, please check their website for specifics and the address.
We will be telling all of the famous silly David stories, please join us.
